Pricing Plans: Back in Stock Notification Limits and what happens when you Reach Them

Registrations vs notifications (important)

  • Registration: a customer signs up to be notified
  • Notification: the email is actually sent when the item is back in stock

You can collect registrations even when sending is paused.

Where to see your usage

Go to App admin → Pricing plans to see:

  • How many notifications you’ve sent this month
  • Your plan limit
  • Any overage rate (for paid plans)

Warning at 80%

When you reach around 80% of your monthly notification allowance, you’ll see an in-app warning so you can upgrade before sending pauses (Free) or before overage starts (paid).

If you are on the Free plan

When you hit the Free plan notification cap:

  • We keep collecting new registrations
  • We pause sending notifications until your limit resets at the next billing cycle

How to resume sending:

  • Upgrade to a paid plan: we’ll send pending notifications once you upgrade, and continue sending new ones.
  • Or wait for the monthly reset: sending resumes when your allowance resets.

If you are on a paid plan (Starter or Essentials)

If you exceed your included notifications:

  • We keep sending notifications
  • You’re charged $1.00 per 100 notifications above your limit

Example:

  • Starter includes 1,000 notifications. If you send 1,250:

Overage is 250 notifications → billed as 3 blocks of 100$3.00

Professional includes unlimited notifications, so there are no limits or overages.

FAQ

Will my Back in Stock form disappear if I hit the Free limit?

No. Registrations continue. Only sending pauses.

Will my preorder button disappear if I hit the Free limit?

It can. Free-plan preorder campaigns may be unpublished at the cap to prevent further preorder orders.

Do limits reset monthly?

Yes, limits reset on your app billing cycle. Check Pricing plans to see your current usage and plan.

What should I do if I’m about to hit limits?

Upgrade before you reach the cap (best option), especially if you rely on active preorder campaigns or time-sensitive Back in Stock alerts.
