Pricing Plans: Back in Stock Notification Limits and what happens when you Reach Them
Registrations versus notifications
- Registration: a customer signs up to be notified.
- Notification: the email that goes out when the item is back in stock.
Only notifications count against your limit. Registrations keep being collected even when sending is paused.
Where to see your usage
Go to App admin → Pricing plans to see how many notifications you have sent this month, your plan limit, and any overage rate.
Warning at 80%
On the Free plan, once you have sent 80% of your monthly notification allowance the app warns you that sending will stop at the cap.
Preorder limits work differently and warn earlier, at 20%, 50% and 70%. See Pricing Plans: Preorder Limits.
What happens at the Free plan cap
- We keep collecting new registrations.
- We pause sending until your limit resets on the next billing cycle.
Nothing is lost. Pending notifications queue up. To resume, upgrade and we send everything pending straight away, then carry on with new ones, or wait for the reset.
What happens on a paid plan
Sending continues and you are charged for the extra.
| Plan | Included notifications per month | Rate above the limit |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 300 | No overage. Sending pauses at the cap |
| Lite | 500 | $1.00 per 100 |
| Starter | 1,000 | $1.00 per 100 |
| Essentials | 3,000 | $1.00 per 100 |
| Professional | Unlimited | No cap, no overage |
Example: Starter includes 1,000 notifications. Send 1,250 and the 250 extra bill as 3 blocks of 100, which is $3.00.
Common questions
Will my Back in Stock form disappear if I hit the Free limit?
No. Registrations continue. Only sending pauses.
Will my preorder button disappear if I hit the Free preorder limit?
Yes, and separately from this limit. At the preorder cap, campaigns are unpublished and "Continue selling when out of stock" is switched off.
Do limits reset monthly?
Yes, on your app billing cycle.
