How to set up Estimated Delivery Widget in Different Markets

If your store sells to multiple countries, showing accurate delivery estimates per market is key to building trust and improving conversions. With Essential Estimated Delivery, you can easily control this by creating one widget per market. Please note that you have control over which countries you will add to the Market from your Shopify Admin and how you name the Market.

Below, we’ll walk you through the recommended setup step by step.

How Market-Based Widgets Work

Each Estimated Delivery Widget can be assigned to specific Shopify Markets.

This means:

  • Different delivery times per country or region
  • More accurate expectations for customers
  • Full control without complex logic or conditions

👉 Important: To show different delivery estimates per market, you must create one widget per market.

Step-by-Step: Set Up an Estimated Delivery Widget for a Specific Market

1. Create a New Estimated Delivery Widget

  1. Open the Essential Estimated Delivery app.
  2. Click Create widget.
  3. Give your widget a clear internal name (for example: Estimated Delivery – USA).

This title is only visible to you.

2. Configure Processing & Transit Settings

In the Conditions tab, set up:

  • Order processing time
  • Cutoff time
  • Working days
  • Blocked dates (holidays)
  • Transit time and transit days

Make sure these values match the delivery expectations for that specific market.

3. Assign the Widget to a Specific Market

  1. Scroll down to the Markets section.
  2. Select Specific market.
  3. Click Select Markets.
  4. Choose the market where this widget should appear (for example: Lithuania).
  5. Click Save.

✅ This widget will now only be shown to customers shopping from that selected market.

4. Repeat for Other Markets

To support multiple markets:

  • Create a new widget for each market
  • Configure delivery settings specific to that region
  • Assign each widget to its corresponding market

For example:

  • Widget A → United States
  • Widget B → Canada
  • Widget C → Lithuania

This keeps delivery estimates accurate and avoids confusion at checkout. Please note that if you use both an All Markets widget and Specific Markets widgets, the All Markets widget will appear in all countries except those where a Specific Markets widget is assigned.

  • ✔ Accurate delivery expectations per country
  • ✔ Cleaner configuration (no overlapping logic)
  • ✔ Better customer trust and conversion rates

Each market gets exactly the delivery message it needs.
