Offer Types of Free Gift BOGO BXGY App
Essential Free Gifts supports three offer types. Choose the one that fits your promotion.
BXGY — Buy X Get Gift Y
The customer buys a specific product (or products from a collection) and receives a gift.
Example: Buy any T-shirt → get a free hat.
You control: - Which products or collections trigger the offer - How many the customer must buy - Which product(s) they receive as a gift
BOGO — Buy One Get One
Works like BXGY, but the gift is the same product as the trigger. The customer buys one and gets another free.
Example: Buy one hoodie → get a second hoodie free.
Spend X Get Gift
The customer reaches a minimum cart value to unlock a reward. Three reward types:

|---|---|
| Product as a gift | A free product is added to the cart |
| Product discount | A percentage or fixed discount is applied to a specific product |
| Shipping discount | A percentage or fixed discount is applied to shipping |
Example: Spend $50 → get a free travel kit. Or spend $100 → get free shipping.
For Spend X offers, you can also set different minimum cart values per Shopify Market (for example, $50 for USD customers and £40 for GBP customers).
