How do I see which orders are preorders on invoices, packing slips or a printed list? (Essent Preorder Back in Stock app)

The app marks preorders in two places on the Shopify order. Your invoice or packing slip shows them only if its template prints those details.

What the app adds to each order

Order tag. Orders with a preorder item get the tag Essential Preorder, plus any tags you add under Order tags on the campaign's Content tab.
Preorder note on each preorder line (default Note: Preorder). You can see it on the order in Shopify admin. Change it on the campaign's Content tab under Preorder note.

Invoices and packing slips

The app doesn't edit Shopify's packing slip or Order Printer templates. If the preorder note doesn't print, the template doesn't include line item notes. Edit the template to add them, or contact support and we'll help.

A list of all preorders

There is no export button in the app. To view preorders, go to Preorder → Preorders and filter by campaign, payment status or fulfilment status.

For a file you can print or open in a spreadsheet, use Shopify: Orders → filter by tag Essential Preorder (or your campaign tag) → Export.
