Side Cart Upsell: Show Offers Beside the Cart Drawer
The side cart upsell shows an offer in a column next to the open cart drawer on desktop. The products sit outside the cart, so they never push the checkout button down.
On mobile there is no room for a column, so the offer shows inside the cart instead, or not at all. You choose.

You can run both at the same time.
Set it up
- In the left menu, click Side Cart Upsell (in the Content part).
- Under Side cart offers, click Add offer.
- On the Offers tab, set the trigger, the products and the discount. These work exactly like the cart upsell. See How to Set Up Cart Upsells: Step-by-Step Walkthrough.
- Switch to the Widget tab.
- In the Side cart upsell card, set Desktop position (screens 750px and wider) to Left or Right of the drawer.
- Set the Offer name and an optional Badge.
- Click Save.
The column only opens when an offer matches the cart. If no side cart offer matches, the drawer opens alone.
Choose the mobile look
On the Widget tab, the Mobile layout (screens narrower than 750px) card sets how the offer shows inside the cart on phones:
- Pick one of the layouts: Carousel, Stacked or Gallery carousel, with or without a card background.
- Or tick Don't show on mobile to hide the offer on phones.
Use the desktop / mobile switch on the card to preview each.
On mobile, the offer shows at Side Cart Upsell's place in the left menu. Drag it up or down in the Content part to move it.
Style it
- Widget tab, Product card: Show card background, Show strike through price, and an optional Savings badge.
- Widget tab, Button: button text and button style.
- Design tab: colours, borders and text styles. The Mobile styles card sets mobile spacing and the mobile background.
Good to know: the desktop column has one fixed layout. The layout tiles only change the mobile look.
