Why did my announcement bar disappear after I changed themes? (Essential Countdown Timer app)

Each theme has its own app embed setting. When you switch to a new theme, the app embed is not turned on automatically.

  1. Go to Online Store → Themes and open the new theme's Customize screen.
  2. Select App embeds, turn on Countdown Timer, and select Save.

Good to know

Product page timers placed with an app block also need the block added to the new theme's product template.
