How do I add a countdown to the cart page or cart drawer? (Essential Countdown Timer app)

Cart page

  • Create a timer and set its type to Cart page.
  • Publish the timer and check that the app embed is on in your theme.

Cart page timers are available on the Essential plan and higher.

Cart drawer

The timer can appear in a cart drawer if your theme's drawer is one the app recognises. This includes the standard drawer and several custom drawer integrations. If your drawer is heavily customised, contact support before you set it up.

Good to know

The cart timer is hidden when the cart is empty. It appears once a customer adds an item.
