How to use Geolocation Targeting on Essential Announcement Bar app

If you are looking to have different Announcement Bars in different markets and strictly be displayed in some countries (where you can change messages and styling). In that case, you should utilize the Geolocation Targeting on the Placement tab.

Simply duplicate the Announcement Bar (there is a button "Duplicate" on the top right for your convenience) for each Market, translate the messages accordingly, and on the Placement tab choose which country should see the Announcement Bar:

Only those who are physically browsing from the set countries can see the Announcement Bar.

Please be aware that if some Announcement Bars are configured for specific countries, such as the US and the UK, while others are set to “All World” customers from the UK and the US will not see the “All World” bars. These bars will be visible to customers in all other regions. If you want an “All World” Announcement Bar to appear in the US and UK as well, you will need to duplicate the Bar and assign it specifically to those countries.

To test the Announcement Bar configured for a specific country, you can change your VPN IP address to the target country, and you will then be able to view the Announcement Bar.
