Why isn't my timer showing on mobile, or why is it aligned differently on mobile? (Essential Countdown Timer app)

Timers are responsive, but a few settings and theme styles can make them look different on phones.

Check the basics

  • Confirm the app embed is on: Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds → Countdown Timer → Save.
  • Check the placement, targeting, country rules, schedule, and recurring days. Any of these can also hide the timer on mobile.
  • Test the published theme on a real phone, not only in the theme editor preview.

If the alignment is wrong

  • For product page and landing page timers, set the layout to Standard. Standard stacks the content with centred text on both desktop and mobile.
  • On a top bar, the text and timer are made smaller at 620px and below, and the bar content is centred at 430px and below. If it still looks crowded, reduce the title size or the spacing in Design.
  • Your theme's mobile CSS can also change the width, text alignment, or overflow. Ask your theme developer to check it.
