Does the Free Shipping Upsell change my shipping rates at checkout? (Essential Free Shipping Upsell app)

No. The Essential Free Shipping Upsell app does not set or change shipping prices. It shows a progress bar toward your goal. Shopify's shipping configuration decides whether a free shipping method is available and what the customer pays.

To offer free shipping, set up a free shipping option in Shopify, or use an eligible automatic free shipping discount. The setup must cover the customer's shipping zone or market, and its threshold should match the goal on your bar. Check the shipping and delivery settings for each zone or market where you show a booster.

Reaching the goal does not make shipping free by itself. The customer must have an applicable Shopify shipping method with a price of zero. If the selected method is paid, Shopify still charges for it, even though the cart has reached the goal.

Free gift and order discount goals are different. The app's checkout discount handles them, and they do not change the shipping rate.
