What happens to my boosters and theme settings when I uninstall the app? (Essential Free Shipping Upsell app)

Uninstalling the app removes its stored app sessions and changes the app's account to the Free plan. It does not delete your boosters, offers, or the Shopify automatic discount. It also does not cancel your Shopify app subscription, and it does not change your native Shopify shipping rates.

The app does not remove its theme app embed or app blocks from your theme, so check these yourself after uninstalling:

• Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds, turn off the app embed if it is still on, and save.
• Remove any app blocks that remain in the theme editor.
• If you pasted Liquid snippets or script tags into your theme files yourself, remove them too. The app does not clean these up.

Also check Discounts in Shopify admin for the automatic discount named "Free Shipping Upsell", and disable or delete it if you no longer need it.

Whether your boosters reappear after you reinstall the app depends on the app's stored records. If they don't, contact our support team.
