How to Remove Trust Badges From Your Theme After Uninstalling (Essential Trust Badges & Icons app)

Uninstalling the app removes its app embed and app blocks from your online store theme automatically. Snippets you added to a theme file by hand are not removed, so check and remove them yourself.

  1. If you have a paid plan, cancel it first: open Pricing plans in the app and click Cancel subscription. Uninstalling also cancels the subscription automatically, but cancelling first is recommended.
  2. Go to Online Store → Themes, click Customize, and open App embeds. Turn off Essential Trust Badges, then click Save.
  3. Check the pages where you added an app block or the snippet, such as the product page and cart page. Remove the block or delete the snippet from the theme file.
