Why is my announcement bar not sticky on mobile? (Essential Announcement Bar app)

The sticky setting is controlled by the app embed. When the bar is added through the app embed, the app applies the sticky behaviour on desktop and mobile.

To check the setup:

1. Open the announcement, go to Design, and set Positioning to Top page.
2. Turn on Sticky bar, then save or publish the announcement.
3. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds, turn on Essential Announcement Bar, and click Save.
4. In the theme editor, remove any Essential Announcement Bar app block or custom snippet for this bar. A bar placed with Custom position or as an app block is positioned by the theme, so the app does not control its sticky behaviour.
5. Test the published store outside the theme editor. Allow up to about 20 seconds for the change to appear.

The app has no separate mobile-only sticky setting. If the bar still does not stick on mobile, the theme may be applying a style to a parent container, such as overflow: hidden or a transform. These styles stop sticky positioning from working. Contact your theme developer or the app support team if this happens.
