Can I pause the app temporarily without uninstalling it? (Essential Cart Drawer app)

Yes. You can switch off the storefront app without uninstalling it, and your Cart Drawer settings stay saved.

  1. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds.
  2. Turn off Essential Cart Drawer.
  3. If you also added a Cart Drawer app block, such as the Spend Tier bar, remove or disable that block too.
  4. Click Save.

To turn the app back on, switch the app embed on again and click Save. App embeds are set per theme, so you may need to switch it on for the theme that is live.

Switching off the embed does not cancel your plan or stop billing. To cancel, see How to Cancel Your Plan on Essential Cart Drawer.
