Why does the sticky checkout footer cover my cart upsell on mobile? (Essential Cart Drawer app)
The checkout footer stays at the bottom of the drawer while the cart content scrolls. On mobile, a tall upsell combined with the wallet buttons can leave little room for the content above the footer. Changing the z-index is not the fix, because it does not create space between the upsell and the footer.
- Open the Essential Cart Drawer editor and edit the Side cart upsell design.
- Under Mobile layout, choose Don't show on mobile if the upsell is hard to see on phones.
- To keep it visible on mobile, use the Stacked or carousel layout, and reduce the mobile Outside bottom spacing and the upsell card, image, or button sizes.
- In the cart's section order, place the upsell above the checkout footer section so it appears in the scrolling content area.
- Click Save, then check the drawer on a phone.
If something other than the drawer is covering the page, another fixed bar from your theme or another app may be the cause. Check that the theme or another app does not add a second fixed checkout bar.
