What happens to my offers if I move to the free plan or restore a paid plan? (Essential Upsell app)

Your offers are not deleted when you move to the free plan. They stay saved, but offer types that are not included in your plan stop showing on the storefront.

• Product page offers and post-purchase offers remain available on the free plan.
• Cart offers need a paid plan.
• Pop-up offers need a paid plan.

An offer that is restricted by your plan stops showing once the plan change takes effect. You do not need to recreate it. When you restore a paid plan, the saved offers that the plan includes can become live again. Check that each offer is published and that its placement is included in your plan.

Essential Upsell uses usage-based billing through Shopify. Choosing a paid plan requires you to approve the charge in Shopify. The app does not charge you without that approval. Restoring the plan does not create an immediate charge just because your offers were saved earlier.
