How do I test my home page only for visitors who see it? (Essential CRO Split AB Testing app)

Use a Template test with your home page template (usually called "index" or "Home page").

In a template test, a visitor joins the test only when they open a page that uses the tested template. Visitors who land on a product page from an ad and never see the home page aren't part of the test.

A Theme test works differently. It applies to the whole store, so it includes visitors who never see your home page.

📌 Once a visitor is in the test, their later add to carts and orders are counted for their version, even if they happen on other pages.
