Upsell Not Showing: Main Reasons and Solutions

If the Upsell Funnel is not appearing on your Shopify store, it could be due to one of the following reasons. Below are the potential causes and their respective solutions to help you resolve the issue:

1. Offer Items Are Out of Stock

   For the Upsell Funnel to display properly, the offer items must meet these conditions:

   • The products must be in stock.

   • Alternatively, inventory tracking should be disabled for these products.

   
   

   Ensure that the offer products are either restocked or have inventory tracking turned off in your Shopify admin.

   
   

2. Offer Items Are Not Published

   Offer items need to be published and available on your Online Store sales channel for them to appear in the Upsell Funnel. To fix this:

   • Go to your Shopify admin and verify that the offer products are not in draft status.

   • Make sure they are set to “Active” and available on the Online Store sales channel.

   
   

3. Offer Items Are Already in the Cart

   The Upsell Funnel will not display offer items if they are already present in the cart. If all upsell items are already added to the cart, the entire Upsell Funnel will not render.
