How to Add an Icon on the Announcement Bar 🖼️

Adding an icon to your announcement bar can help draw attention to key messages such as promotions, shipping information, or special offers.

However, please note that this feature is not available for all announcement bar types.

Announcement Types That Support Icons ✅

You can add an image or icon when using:

• Simple Announcement 📣
• Multiple Rotating Announcements 🔄

These announcement types allow you to enhance your message with a visual element displayed next to the text.

Announcement Types That Do NOT Support Images / Icons ❌

Images and icons are not supported in:

• Running Line Announcement 🔁

Since running line announcements are moving, visual elements are intentionally disabled to ensure smooth animation and readability.

How to Add an Image or Icon 📌

If your selected announcement type supports it, follow these steps:

1. Open the Essential Announcer app
2. Open your announcement bar
3. Go to the Content tab
4. Upload or select an icon from our icon library
5. Save or publish your announcement

Once published, the image or icon will appear inside the announcement bar next to your text.

Best Practices 💡

• Use simple icons (shipping, discount, info) for clarity
• Avoid large images that may distract from the message and will not be easy to read due the to icon size
• Keep visuals consistent with your store’s branding
• Use only English Alphabet letters in the icon file naming for the successful file upload
