Why does the points amount on my product card look different from what I expected? (Essential Loyalty app)

The badge calculates points for one product price at a time. It does not calculate the highest possible points across all variants.

• When the page first loads, the badge shows points for the default variant.
• If the product card lets the customer choose a variant (for example, a size dropdown or colour swatches), the badge updates to the points for the selected variant.
• If your theme does not show the selected variant on the product card, the badge stays on the default variant price.

Good to know

• The words "Earn up to X points" are text you write in the placement settings. They are not calculated automatically. If you want a different message, edit the text.
• Points are calculated after the customer's tier multiplier is applied, so customers in higher tiers may see a higher number.
• Prices are converted using the active Shopify market currency before points are calculated.
