Why did the loyalty widget disappear from my store? (Essential Loyalty app)

If the widget was visible before and has now disappeared, check these items in order.

  1. App embed on the live theme. Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds and make sure Essential Loyalty is on. Check the theme that is published, not a draft.
  2. Launcher visibility. Go to Essential Loyalty → Placements → Floating widget → Customize. The launcher can be set to Desktop, Mobile, or None. A change here hides it.
  3. Theme or app changes. If you recently changed themes, or installed an app that changes the bottom of the page, the widget may be hidden or covered. Test in an incognito window.
  4. Chat apps. A chat button (such as Shopify Inbox) can cover the launcher. Custom CSS can move it. Contact support for help.

Good to know

After you change a setting, the storefront can take a short time to show the new version. Hard refresh the page before testing again.
