Can I use store credit instead of points? (Essential Loyalty app)
The app does not turn points into cash-back automatically. Customers still earn points, and then they can redeem them for a Shopify store credit reward.
- Go to Essential Loyalty → Program → Points → Rewards and add a reward of type Store credit.
- Set the points cost and the store credit amount.
Good to know
- Store credit rewards need the Essential plan or higher.
- They require new customer accounts.
- Store credit is applied at checkout automatically. Customers don't need a code.
- Orders paid with store credit earn points, like other paid orders.
