Can I use loyalty points in Shopify POS? (Essential Loyalty app)

Yes, on the Starter plan and higher. Customers can be looked up in POS, see their points balance, earn points after a purchase, and redeem discount rewards in the POS cart.

  1. Check that POS is an order source: Settings → POS.
  2. Make sure POS access is enabled for the app, otherwise POS orders don't earn points.

Good to know

  • Store credit rewards and free shipping rewards cannot be redeemed in POS. They are hidden there.
  • Refunds made in POS remove the points for that order, the same as online refunds.
