Can I give free shipping or free products as rewards? (Essential Loyalty app)

Yes. Free shipping and free product rewards are available on all plans, including Free.

Free shipping reward

  1. Go to Essential Loyalty → Program → Points & tiers → Rewards → Add reward.
  2. Choose Free shipping and set the points cost.
  3. Optional: set Maximum shipping costs that qualify. Leave it empty for no limit.

Free product reward

  1. In the same place, choose Free product and set the points cost.
  2. Select the product, and optionally a specific variant.

Good to know

  • Each redemption gives one unit of the product. For more units, create a separate reward.
  • To change the wording customers see for the maximum shipping cost, go to Branding → Translations.
  • A free shipping perk written in a VIP tier's Perks field is only text. It does not give free shipping by itself. To give free shipping to a tier, create a free shipping reward and make sure the tier's customers can redeem it.
  • Rewards are not restricted by tier unless you set it up that way. Any customer with enough points can redeem them.
