Can a discount code unlock a free gift? (Essential Free Gift BOGO BXGY app)

Not at the moment. Offers unlock from what's in the cart: the trigger products (BXGY, BOGO, BXGD) or the cart value (Spend X). A discount code the customer enters doesn't unlock or add a gift.

For an exclusive offer, for example for an email list or an influencer, use Target specific customers → Secret link on the Offer tab. The offer only works for customers who open your store through the generated link. See Scheduling, Markets and Customer Targeting.

If you need gifts unlocked by a code, let us know and we'll add your vote to the feature request.
